Ken Assurance Security was born out of a desire to deliver a tailored, reliable and efficient private security service that meets the specific needs of clients. Established in March 2020 by the Managing Directors, Kenneth Masimula and Mcolisi Zulu, our dedicated security teams are fully equipped, trained and ready for virtually any situation, delivering our guarding services with integrity, honesty and confidentiality.

Kenneth Masimula
Joint Managing Director
I have spent most of my career in security, predominantly in the hospitality industry. Throughout my career I worked in world-class hotels and night clubs around South Africa and in Europe. My primary roles have been in the management of security personnel in clubs and restaurants. I also spent many years providing security as a CPO (Close Protection Officer) and I have been trained in tactical shooting (I’m a member of IDPA). My passion is bringing a high level of professionalism to the security and guarding industry.
Mcolisi (Stephen) Zulu
Joint Managing Director
I have been in the security industry for many years moving from a guard role into becoming a site supervisor. I later became the security manager at one of South Africa’s biggest retailers. My experience working in large corporations has honed my security management skills which I bring to our dynamic team here at Ken Assurance Security. Understanding the needs of corporations is extremely important to us so that security protocols can be implemented that fit the client’s existing business models.
